The work explores the paradox of artistic freedom and control. Though the artist employs a mechanical device to release paint drops from above — minimizing direct manipulation — he maintains authority through deliberate color selection. Each hue reflects emotions and experiences from distinct periods in his life.

This tension reveals an essential truth: freedom in creative practice remains illusory. Even when surrendering to chance operations, the artist cannot escape the constraints of human agency and self-identification. The piece documents nine moments of paint in freefall, capturing the unpredictable mixing and shattering against canvas — yet this apparent spontaneity exists within carefully chosen parameters, suggesting that unfreedom inevitably resurfaces as an inescapable consequence of engaging with the world and defining oneself within it.
