Trace
By the recollection of his contemporaries, some of Vladimir Fedorov's works were made using steeped tea bags, which he used as a brush, leaving tea stains directly on the paper.
The artist combines Fedorov's approach with his own technique of dropping paint from a height. Tea soaked in watercolor shatters against the canvas, creating bright, dynamic stains.
The uncontrolled fall of the paint resonates with Fedorov's own spirit of freedom, colliding with the canvas to leave a trace.
Based on the technique of Vladimir Fedorov. Commissioned by the Voznesensky Center.
